This collection was so helpful for me to focus on while going...

About the artist.

Hey, I'm Elizabeth & crafting has always been something that I've loved to do. As a little girl sitting at the table with my grandma creating something out of nothing; we would always use the scraps of what we were making to create something new. I have always looked at the world around me and thought "What could I do to this to make it into something no one would expect?"

Early in this embroidery journey I made a connection with a lovely stained glass artist that would send me my first box of scrap glass. I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do with it, but it was too pretty to pass up. After much irritation and some troubleshooting I was sitting with my husband one day and he asked me why don't you mix your embroidery with the glass? "How am I going to do that?" I asked him. And then it hit me like a ton of bricks and my glass embroidery was born. It's has taken much trial and error, literal blood (like...lots of cuts), sweat, and tears, but I'm proud to put my name on the pieces that have come out of the hard work.

  • PNW

The northwest is somewhere I have called home my whole life. I would be lost without the mountains and trees surrounding me. You'll see a lot of the nature in this beautiful part of the country come through as insperation in my work.

  • Handmade

Each piece is one of a kind and hand made. Woodworking is something new for me and I am excited to see where it takes me on this journey. Any pieces not in an embroidey hoop have been hand designed and cut by me.

  • Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.

Using materials that could be considered trash to someone else has always been important to me. All of my glass scrap comes from fellow glass artists or from scrap bins at my local glass stores.
